Water Plus Test  

Water Plus offers on the spot testing of bore water for hardness, iron content and pH levels.  We can also test for transmission of ultraviolet light for water sanitisation purposes.  For comprehensive water analysis and potability we recommend you contact Ecowise Environmental whose lab is also in Fyshwick.

To take a sample for Water Plus to test follow these steps:

• Use a clean, air tight container like a washed soft drink or water bottle.
• Take the water sample from where the water will be treated, ie after the tank if the treatment system will be installed after the tank.
• Fill the bottle to the top and squeeze bottle as you seal the cap to ensure there is no air in the bottle.
• Bring the sample to Water Plus as soon as possible after taking sample. Iron will oxidise out of the water so it is important to take the sample just before you leave for Canberra/Water Plus and get the sample to us as quickly as you can.
