Water Plus Recycling Systems
Why Recycle?
Grey water recycling is far more effective than relying on rain to fall. With a WaterPlus ultraGTS it 'rains' every day. Approximately 80% of the water that goes to drain in your home is grey water. The other 20% is toilet water and water from the kitchen sink that is known as black water and cannot be recycled. Each time you shower, bath, and wash your clothes or hands water can be captured by the Sump Collection Tank for processing. Therefore water is available for reuse every day to 'rain' on your garden or be used again for the other purposes listed below.
The ACT Government Department of Health have a Fact Sheet on Greywater use. They are informative guidelines for residential properties in Canberra.
Under the guidelines water treated to a high standard can be reused for more than just the garden. The WaterPlus ultraGTS provides high quality water that enables the treated water to be stored for reuse at your discretion.

Water recycling is an emerging
area and much of the legislation, including health regulations, science
and product development is still emerging. Consequently there should
be a high degree of caution in making decisions in this area.
